A public address system (PA system) is an electronic sound amplification and distribution system with a microphone, amplifier and loudspeakers used to allow a person to address a large public.
PA system helps the groups to enjoy the get together gathering events and music concerts. Simple PA systems are often used in small venues such as school auditoriums, Government service centre and small Company work places. PA systems with many speakers are widely used to make announcements in public, institutional and commercial buildings and crowded places such as airports. Some PA systems allow the occupants to respond to the announcements with a microphone provided at the rooms.
Public address system is very important and compulsory for the small and large venues like school auditoriums, Malls, train / metro / airport / bus terminals. In simple terms Public address system is required to make announcements in public, institutional and commercial buildings. Additionally it has the components of mixing console, amplifiers and loudspeakers for music as well as speech, it has the capability to use a sound source, as a recorded music or a person delivering speech and distributing the sound throughout the addressed venue or building.
• Audio processors (Controller): The controller houses advanced audio digital signal processing (DSP), matrix control functions and with front panel access for a fully monitored and emergency triggering buttons. It also supports amplifier monitoring with hot-swap amplifiers and loudspeaker line impedance monitoring. it can also store recorded voice messages and can transmit music inputs from CD player or music servers to different zones via loud speakers.
• Power Amplifiers: An audio power amplifier is an electronic amplifier that amplifies low-power electronic audio signals (signals composed primarily of frequencies between 20 - 20 000 Hz, the human range of hearing) to a level that is strong enough for driving loudspeakers and making the signal–whether it is recorded music or a live speech–audible to listeners. It is the final electronic stage in a typical audio playback chain before the signal is sent to the loudspeakers.
• Microphone: A microphone, colloquially nicknamed mic or mike is a transducer that converts sound into an electrical signal.
• Speakers: A loudspeaker is an electro acoustic transducer which converts an electrical audio signal into a corresponding sound.
